Mediation
Mediation is suitable in situations where participants have goodwill to share perspectives and to achieve negotiated outcomes.
Mediation is a confidential and voluntary process.
The first step is an individual preliminary session (approx 1 hour) so that I can understand your perspective and needs. We may then proceed with a joint session (approx 2 hours). Alternatively, mediation can be undertaken in "shuttle" format, with continued individual sessions, before considering progressing to any joint session.
How many sessions it takes to reach a mediated outcome depends on the nature and complexity of the matter. In some cases one joint session is enough. Commonly, it takes two or three joint sessions.
